We were founded on January 15, 2010, and have dedicated ourselves to creating high quality assessment and learning experiences, with a focus on student success at the primary, secondary, and post-secondary education levels. Vretta-Lyryx is built on strong values of commitment to student success through innovation, integrity, and striving to ensure the highest quality standards in the assessment and learning industry. Our team members have extensive Canadian and international experience in designing and implementing unique large-scale learning and assessment solutions in many countries around the world, including Canada, the USA, the UK, France, Luxembourg, and Portugal. Our expertise includes learning and assessment design and development, operational engineering efficiencies, data management and psychometric automation, and privacy and security, maintaining an agile project management environment.

President
Harsha drives the strategic vision of Vretta-Lyryx with a deep commitment to excellence and student success in higher education. She leads her team by example, and her ability to inspire and empower them has fostered a culture of innovation and collaboration. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and a Master of Science degree in Computer Applications.
TAMSYN MURNAGHAN
Director of Operations
Tamsyn is a pivotal leader responsible for streamlining and optimizing daily operational activities - from strategic planning to managing teams and overseeing budgets. She drives excellence demonstrating a blend of industry expertise, analytical skills, and hands-on approach. She has a Bachelor of Management degree in General Management and a Master of Arts degree in Leadership.
JAMES HOWELL
Manager of Academic Partnerships
James is responsible for leading and motivating the sales team to exceed targets and cultivate relationships with partners and clients. His sales dynamics expertise and his exceptional leadership skills have been instrumental in aligning our solutions with client needs. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Evironmental Management.
KSENIIA KUZMINA
Lead of Technology
Kseniia is a strategic innovator and key driver of technology initiatives within Vretta-Lyryx, ensuring that all digital platforms and tools are cutting-edge and effective for both internal and client use. With hands-on technical leadership, she ensures that technology supports and enhances organizational goals. She has a Computer Programming Diploma and over 7 years of professional experience in the field.
BILAL USMAN
Lead of Editorial & Assessment
Bilal is the creative visionary responsible for overseeing the editorial process and ensuring the highest quality of content, guaranteeing its accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand standards. His leadership and editorial expertise are essential in shaping the organization’s voice and refining its content strategy. Bilal has a Master of Science degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Physics.
SKYLAR BACCHUS
Project Manager
Skylar is a crucial orchestrator, responsible for planning, executing, coordinating, and delivering projects. Combining his organizational and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach, he drives project success, ensuring that objectives are met and delivering value to the organization. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.

Workspace
Our office, located in Old Town Toronto, overlooks the landmark St. James Park, offering our team views of the beautiful greenery and the historic St. James Cathedral. The office is just a ten-minute walk from subway lines and the Union Station, Toronto’s primary railway and intermodal transportation hub, making commuting convenient. It’s also a short five-minute walk from numerous restaurants and the historic St. Lawrence Market.
In 2017, Vretta acquired the office building at 120 Adelaide Street East, which has since served as our innovation hub, bringing together internal and external teams to collaborate on a wide variety of projects. As part of our expansion in 2024, Vretta acquired the adjoining building at 132 Adelaide East, a heritage property under the Ontario Heritage Act. This addition enhances our office environment with historical and cultural significance. The creative ambiance of our offices inspires the best in design for our learning and assessment solutions.
