Vretta is excited to partner with the AI/Hub, Durham College’s Hub for Applied Research in Artificial Intelligence for Business Solutions, to develop an advanced virtual NLP (Natural Language Processing) AI assistant to support student engagement on IntroMath.

Vretta’s courseware platform, IntroMath, has been supporting the assessment-for-learning experience in mathematics for students at post-secondary institutions across Canada for almost a decade. Through this partnership with the AI/Hub, Vretta is supporting the development and integration of an AI assistant for IntroMath that will intelligently learn and understand students’ usage of the platform and will provide them with the required technical guidance through their learning and assessment experience. This AI and NLP-backed virtual assistant will also aim to strengthen the user experience for students by significantly reducing the response time for queries.

About the AI/HUB: It is the Durham College Hub for Applied Research in Artificial Intelligence for Business Solutions that offers industry partners access to technical expertise, state-of-the-art facilities and platforms, and student talent, to uncover business insights while providing intelligent and autonomous solutions to increase productivity and growth.
